Get involved in STEM through our trips to Saturday Morning Physics.
  

MHS will take a bus to Tallahassee for 4 of the programs offered by FSU Saturday Morning Physics program.

Dates: 9/22/2018, 10/06/2018, 10/13/2018, and 11/10/2018
The first 30 students to turn in notarized permission slips for each of the trips will be accepted.  If you are not able to ride the MHS bus, you may still participate in Saturday Morning Physics, as it is free and open to the public. Details for October 6, 2018: The New Astronomy
  • The bus will depart from MHS at 7AM (Meet at MHS at 6:45.  We will not wait.)  We will return to Marianna by 12:30PM. 
  • All students must wear uniform polos, jeans without holes or khaki shorts/pants, and closed toe shoes.
  • If you were one of the first 30 to sign up, lunch will be provided for at Chic-fil-A.  If you were not, you will need to bring $7.00 for lunch.
  • All students should visit this site and familiarize themselves with FSU's planetarium http://astrophysics.physics.fsu.edu/Planetarium/.
