Marianna High School's Weekly Morning Show

The girls soccer senior night will be Monday, January 21st at 4 p.m. Please come out and support your senior soccer members.  Marianna will be hosting the girls soccer District 1 meet this year.  If you would like to volunteer to help, please see coach LaBelle in room f115.  The Marianna High School wrestling team will be participating and the Gator Bowl in Wewa on January 18th. Next Thursday, January 24th, all students are invited to attend a wrestling match during 7th period.  We are collecting donations for the Ronald McDonald House as your fee to enter.  See the bulletin boards on each hall for a list of items that are needed.
Do you want to work in the automotive industry when you graduate? Do you love working on cars?  Want to know about how to make this dream a reality?  If you're interested in taking part in a working lunch next Friday, January 25th, go to the MHS website and sign up under student resources.  You will will see the link for Working Lunch.  During this working lunch, representatives from Chipola's Automotive program will talk with you about the program.  You will learn about requirements to be a part of that program.  You also get to eat free pizza and drink a cold Coca-Cola. Only the first 20 students to sign up will be able to participate. Don't delay--sign up today.
Junior Revue tryouts are going to be held on Tuesday, February 5th. If you are interested in trying out please please sign up with Mrs. Law by  January 30.  Junior Revue will be held on March 21st. We are looking for creative acts.   All classes will have a skit.  SGA officers, reserve your skit idea with Mrs. Law ASAP.

If you go to the MHS website and look under student resources, you will see a Prom 2019 page.  You can access the link to suggest songs for the DJ and see the themes and songs that have been suggested by your SGA officers.  Juniors you will be voting for the prom theme and song today  during lunch.  Here is a sneak peak at what the themes are.

Tryouts for softball will be Tuesday January 22nd at 3:30 at the MHS softball field. Anyone trying out will need their physical and athletic packet.  I look forward to seeing you then. 
Hi, I'm Madison. Senior quotes are due to the yearbook staff by the end January.  Please see your staff member or come by the yearbook room during 4th period to discuss.  Yearbooks are $75 until the end of the year and senior ad pages are $300 until the end of February.  There is a club and sport  picture day on January 22nd. Please be ready with your club or in sport attire--your t-shirts or jerseys. Look for the schedule posted around school.  You can also submit pictures to the yearbook staff. There a social media pages--we are on Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat.
