Our character trait for September is gentleness.  Gentleness is defined as showing consideration and personal concern for others by the Character First Council.  Your character determines your success. Hi, I'm Anna, and I'm Parker and this is Dawg Bytes for Friday September 21st 2018. If you are planning to be a part of Sweet 16, listen up. There will be a parent meeting on September 24th at 6 p.m. in the library for anyone who plans to participate in Sweet 16.  Interested in joining Anchor Club? There will be an organizational meeting in the library after school on September 24th at 3 p.m. Anchor Club is a service club, and it looks great on a resume. Dues are $25. Boys and girls are welcome to join. Anchor is awesome. Get your pink-out t-shirts for the Pink Out Game on October 5. Order forms may be downloaded on the MHS website, or picked up on one of the bulletin boards. It's time to start getting ready for homecoming. SGA is already meeting to plan float building, activity day, Bulldog Blast, and the homecoming parade.  Look on the website for more information.  The theme is Decades of Dawgs. We are throwing it back in time this year. One thing that we're going to do is have a swing dance competition at Bulldog Blast.  SGA has linked a tutorial on how to swing dance on the Bulldog Blast webpage on the MHS website.  Grab a partner and start learning your best swing dancing moves now.  Classes can enter up to 4 couples couples in the competition.  The more couples your class enters, the better chance you have of winning a lot of points in the Spirit Week competition. I am ready to learn to swing dance! Stem Club students who are attending Saturday Morning Physics with Mrs. Law need to be on campus tomorrow morning at 6:45 a.m. The bus will leave at 7, with or without you on it.  It is going to be a great trip. If you didn't get your form in quick enough for this trip, don't worry.  There will be three more opportunities this semester. How did I get here? She did not look like her profile picture. Why did I agree to meet him? Hey, guys! See you at the pole! Wednesday! September 26th! Doughnuts!  Be there or be square.  Go Dogs!
