🚨 HOMECOMING UPDATE – PLEASE READ 🚨
Bulldog Nation, we know there has been a lot of uncertainty surrounding Homecoming this week, and we appreciate everyone's patience as we work through the weather situation.
We have made the following plans based on the information we have at this time:
🐾 WEDNESDAY – BULLDOG BLAST
Bulldog Blast is moving to Wednesday night!📍 Bulldog Stadium
⏰ 6:00–8:00 PM
Since the parade has been cancelled, classes will need to bring their Homecoming floats to Bulldog Stadium so we can still show off all of the hard work our students have put into them!
🏈 THURSDAY – HOMECOMING GAME
At this time, we are planning to move the Homecoming football game to Thursday night.💃 Homecoming Dance will take place immediately following the game until 11:00 PM.
⚠️ WHAT IF THE GAME CANNOT BE PLAYED?
We are still waiting on final confirmation regarding Jay's ability to travel to Marianna on Thursday. If we find out that there will not be a football game, our senior girls have decided that we will crown the Homecoming Queen during Bulldog Blast on Wednesday night so that we can still celebrate this special Homecoming tradition together. 👑🐾
If there is no game:
👑 Homecoming Queen Crowning: Bulldog Blast on Wednesday night
💃 Homecoming Dance: 7:00–9:00 PM on Thursday
🚫 The Homecoming Parade is cancelled.
We know this is not the Homecoming Week we originally planned, and we know some of these changes are disappointing. We are trying to make the best possible plans with the circumstances we have been given while still giving our students an opportunity to celebrate, make memories, and enjoy their Homecoming.
We appreciate your patience, flexibility, and understanding as we work through the weather and travel concerns. We will communicate any additional changes as soon as we know more.
No matter what the week looks like, we are still going to celebrate our Bulldogs! 💜💛🐾
Thank you, Bulldog Nation, for making the best of a difficult situation with us.
GO DOGS! 🐾💜💛
