2022 Minimum Requirements for Scholarship Application

For Students Attending the University of Florida in 2022-2023

Deadline to apply: May 14, 2022

 

 

The Chipola Area Gators, Inc. will award a $1000.00 scholarship to an individual from Jackson, Washington, or Calhoun counties for the upcoming fall and spring semesters.  We invite all eligible applicants to apply.  See the minimum eligibility requirements listed below.  The application deadline is May 14, 2022.  Any questions regarding the application should be addressed to LuAnne Law at (850) 557-7425.

 

THE MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

You must be planning to attend the University of Florida in the fall of 2022.

You must apply for admission to, and attend, the University of Florida for the fall and spring semesters within the academic year the scholarship is awarded. Funding will not be released until proof of enrollment at the University of Florida is received by the Chipola Area Gators, Inc. Scholarship Committee in the fall of 2012.
Your high school GPA should be a minimum 3.75 cumulative unweighted.
You should have a minimum SAT score of 1100 or ACT score of 25.
If requested, you must make yourself available for an interview with the Chipola Area Gators, Inc. Scholarship Committee.
The selection criteria for awarding the scholarships will be based upon academic achievement, financial need, and extra-curricular activities participated in during your high school or college years.
You must submit a complete Chipola Area Gators, Inc. scholarship application on or before May 14, 2022. The application must be received or postmarked by May 14, 2022.
