Yearbook Ad Groups

Welcome to Yearbook!!!

Congratulations!

You have been chosen to be a part of high school that lasts longer than any other. You provide the memories for your fellow classmates. In order to produce your yearbook, it must be paid for. The yearly cost of producing a yearbook is $40,000. We have two ways of raising money- ad sales and book sales. BEFORE school ends (May 30, 2008), you MUST sell three ads. You MUST sell the remainder of your ads BEFORE school starts next year (August 18, 2008). Your grade in yearbook is based on the number of points you earn. For the first grading period, a large portion of your points will come from ad sales.

YOU MUST SELL A MINIMUM OF 10 ADS!!!

Once you sell 10 ads, you share the total points earned by your group.

Points for ads are calculated on the following basis:

11-20
21 and up

RULES

Stay within your own territory.
(Group One: The interstate to 1001 Uses and the old Wal-mart shopping center Hwy 90 until Hwy 71 and 1001 Uses)
(Group Two: Hwy 71 to Jefferson and opposite side of street from 1001 Uses to Bobbie’s Waffle Iron)
(Group Three: Bobbie’s Waffle Iron to Assembly of God) courthouse side
(Group Four: Jefferson to Assembly of God) school side
(Group Five: Assembly of God down the rest of 90 on both sides)
Be polite
Be professional
Dress appropriately (dress pants; skirt)
STOP when you get a yes.
Be prepared to overcome objections.
Don’t take the responsibility for losing money. Put it in an envelope and have it put in Mr. Summer’s box in the office.
