  2. Have all assignments ready to turn in at the beginning of the period.
  3. Accept responsibility for their make-up work. They know what they missed (This can be found on Mr. Summers’ Web page.); they come in during the make up times; they make sure that all absences are excused.
  4. Make-up Days: Wednesday afternoons from 3:05 until 3:40 and Thursday morning 7:10 to 7:50. Only the work from the previous week may be made up unless arrangements have been made in advance.
  5. Take pride in their work. This includes on tests, homework, assignments, quizzes, or any other work. They do not cheat. Plagiarism is considered cheating.
  6. Realize that the teacher may pick up any work done in class.
  7. Refrain from eating, drinking, or chewing of any kind in class.
  8. Do not talk unless the teacher calls on them.
  9. Access only those sites that are appropriate for their assignments when working on computers.
  10. Prepare well for semester exams which count one-fifth of the semester grade.

Yearbook

All work counts the same.

Major tests count 50% of your grade. Minor tests count 25%; daily work, 25%.

Grades are based on a point system. 6300 points are needed for an A.

If a test will count more than one daily grade, you will be informed before the test.

Quizzes may be oral. Other work may be substituted at the teacher's discretion on make-up days for missed quizzes.

Points are kept on a monthly calendar. It is your responsibility to make sure that points are recorded.

Make-up tests may be in a different format than the test taken during the class period.

DEADLINES ARE THE KEY. Missed deadlines may result in loss of points.

If you have an assignment (especially photo) and cannot make it, it is your responsibility to find a replacement.
