About Me
I was born and raised in Marianna. I am a 1993 graduate of Marianna High School. I attended Chipola College, where I received my AA degree in Education, and Troy State University Dothan, where I received my BS degree in Secondary English Education in May, 2004. My husband, Jerry, is a Firefighter/EMT and is employed with South Walton Fire District. We have three children: Brianna, Kaitlyn, and Jacob.
I completed my educational internship program at Vernon Middle School in the spring of 2004 in my own classroom. This is my fifth year teaching, all of which have been at MHS. I am also the JV Cheerleading sponsor.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, attending and volunteering at church activities, and reading. Do not ask me about current movies, because I live a sheltered life: I don't watch many movies or much television, with the exception of watching the nightly news! :)
