Procedure: Group 2 - Jamestown Group 1 -Read independently and do written work. Group 3- JamesTown Deceptions pgs. 154-161. Answer all questions. May work as a group.

Objective: Students will be exposed to
five different propaganda techniques. They will create a product
and advertisement using one or more techniques.
Procedure: Group 3 Jamestown
Group 2-Read independently and do written work. Group 1 - Introduce analyzing media by modeling how to analyze two passages (reteaching skills). Pass out questions for analyzing media and answer each one with students. Students will independently read a passage and as a group answer the questions on how to analyze media.
