Policies and Procedures

1. All disciplinary guidelines in the student handbook will be enforced in the classroom.
2. Come to class prepared.
Bring any textbooks, folder, paper, pencil, assignments, etc. Have a good attitude. Be ready to learn.
3. Be on time.
4. Listen carefully when the teacher is talking. I will give you the same courtesy when it is your turn to speak
5. Turn work in on time.
6. Make-up any assignments when you are absent.
It is your responsibility as the student to find out your missing assignments, complete them, and turn them in. If an assignment or notice of a test was given before you were absent, you will be expected to turn in the assignment or take the test. Tests and quizzes can be made up before school or after school.
7. Use the restroom and get water before coming to class.
8. Sharpen pencils at the beginning of class.
9. Cheating is a serious offense. Be honest!
Copying homework, tests, or any assignment is considered cheating. Cheating will result in a zero for the assignment and a phone call to your parent/guardian.
10. My desk, podium, cabinets, closet, etc. are off-limits to all students.
11. I will dismiss the class at the end of each period after the bell. The bell does not dismiss the class.
12. Nine Weeks Grades
50% of your grade will come from quizzes/homework.
35% of your grade will come from tests.
15% of your grade will come from projects or book reports.
