1. Be Prompt! You should be in your assigned seat when the tardy bell rings
2. Be Prepared! Bring notebook, paper, and pencil or blue/black pen (work completed in other colors will not be graded) with you each day. Remove supplies and place backpacks under desks.
3. Be Polite! Show respect for each other. Please be quiet, respectful and attentive in class.
4. Be Productive! All assignments should be completed before being turned in. If you dont complete an assignment in class, you may check out a textbook to complete at home. I am available before and after school if you need extra help.
5. Be Positive! All students have the potential to do well! A positive attitude makes learning fun!
6. Grading Policy Students will receive both daily and test grades. Daily grades account for 50% of your average and test scores 50%. Semester grades are averaged as: 1st 9-weeks 2/5, 2nd 9-weeks 2/5, Semester exam 1/5
7. Restroom / Lockers Students should go to the restroom or to their locker between classes. If a student has to leave class due to an emergency, they must have their Agenda Book pass with them.
8. Tardy Policy Students should be seated in the classroom when the tardy bell rings. If tardy, students will sign the tardy sheet immediately upon arrival to class. Any tardy of over 10 minutes will be considered an absence.
9. Attendance Policy / Makeup Work Students are expected to be in class. The attendance guidelines as explained in the Student Handbook will be followed. When absent, an excuse must be turned in to the office. Daily assignments are due upon return for school related absences, and within 3 days for all others. Tests may be made up for excused absences only either before or after school. If a student has 4 or more unexcused absences in a class during a 9-week grading period, that student will receive a grade of not more than a F/59 and referred to truancy court.
10. Notebooks Notebooks are required in all classes. All class assignments and handouts should be placed in your notebook. DO NOT throw any papers away! Notebooks will be graded each 9-weeks. ALL WORK SHOULD REMAIN IN NOTEBOOK UNTIL END OF SEMESTER.
11. Computer Usage Students may only use computers for FACS class assignments following school guidelines for computer usage.
12. All other MHS rules apply as stated in student handbook.
