Classroom Policies

Students are expected to adhere to the following policies:
Respect and follow all school-wide policies.
Stay on task during all activities.
Avoid unnecessary moving about the room.
Take proper care of art materials.
Keep work area clean. This includes putting all materials away at the end of the class period!

Grading Procedure:
Grades will be based on the following:
1) daily assignments; 2) compositions; 3) special projects; 4) quizzes; & 5) homework.

Make-up Work Policy:
It is the student's responsibility to make arrangements for make-up work with 
the teacher within three days upon returning to school. 
The time allowed to make-up work will be based on the assignment missed.
A grade of zero will be recorded until make-up work is complete.

Late Assignment Policy:
You are expected to turn in each assignment on or before the due date.
Points may be deducted for each day the work is late. If the work becomes
one week past due the work may not be accepted, resulting in a grade of zero.
