Checking my
messages:
- From your phone, press feature 981.
- It asks for your 4 digit passcode, enter it followed by the # key.
- After you hear your name, press 2 to hear new messages. As you
hear them it is good to delete them right then by pressing the 8
key. If you'd like to save that message instead of deleting,
press the 7 key twice.

Changing the
Greeting:
- When you first go into your voicemail, press the 8 key. Listen
for the "talking lady" to tell you what to press "to
record a greeting". Basically, in the phone system, if you
wait the "talking lady" will tell you your options.

Checking
my messages from off campus:
- Dial in to MHS, when you hear the recorded message, press the * key
twice, then enter both your voicemail box number AND your passcode
together followed by the # key.
- Then everything is just like you are on campus.

Changing the
Passcode:
- Every few months, the system requires you to change your passcode.
It will prompt you as you enter your voicemail. You CANNOT enter
the same one. I usually enter 1111 then go into the voicemail
and change it back to my old one.
- To change your passcode you press 8 when first entering your
voicemail. Listen for the "lady" to tell you which
option it is to change your passcode.
