When first setting up your gradebook be sure NOT to accidentally place all your students into one file.  Group by class period if you have more than one section in one period.  Highlight like all the 1's or whatever period it is, but not the entire list of sections!!!

RE: SECOND SEMESTER:YO! If you have a semester (not year long) classes, then each semester you need to do a File-File Wizard and create your classes. New semester, means new class file for semester length classes!
